Project Overview
Wooo Social Games is the first social gaming app that allows users to win through their everyday lives by showcasing their unique skills and talents. As a marketplace for talent, the platform makes it easy to grow their fanbase, turning skills into real-world rewards. The app empowers users to earn money effortlessly, blending gaming with personal achievement and community recognition.
The Problem
Most social apps don't empower users to turn everyday activities into rewards or earnings, missing the chance to showcase skills and grow fanbases meaningfully.
The Goal
The goal of Wooo Social Games is to empower users to transform their everyday activities into opportunities for winning, by showcasing their talents, growing their fanbase, and earning money effortlessly through an engaging social gaming platform.
01. Gamification Proposal
Gamification Elements
The client requested that the app incorporate elements of social gaming, which led us to implement gamification strategies inspired by Octalysis Prime. This included key aspects such as Epic Meaning & Calling, Development & Accomplishment, Ownership & Possession, Scarcity & Impatience, Unpredictability & Curiosity, and Social Influence.
The app was developed for both iOS and Android platforms, so I focused on designing with Auto Layout and adhered to an 8x4-point grid system to ensure consistency and visual harmony across all screens.

We chose shades of purple for the gamification elements in the social game app because purple evokes creativity, imagination, and a sense of mystery, which aligns with the fun, engaging, and competitive atmosphere we aim to create for users.

Core Achievement
Set collaborative goals with progressive challenges, rewarding players with badges or points. Enhance engagement through real-time feedback, leaderboards, and shared achievements to encourage friendly competition.
Core Unpredictability
Introduce random events, surprise rewards, and unpredictable challenges to keep players curious and engaged. Mystery boxes, surprise levels, and unexpected bonuses add excitement, encouraging players to return.

Use culturally relevant themes and inclusive content to create a welcoming environment that engages and represents a diverse audience.
